After an unplanned hiatus (for which I deeply apologize) I'm back! What have I been up to? I've been busy with my toy business, charity, and my writing. In the time since I've written here, I've completed my novella, plus a Christmas story, and scored my first paid editing job.
So, what does the future hold? Quite frankly, I don't know for certain. On the writing front, I am working on two novellas, The Rites of Spring and The Devil in the Deep Woods, both sequels to The Treeman of Roses. The Rites of Spring, the more direct sequel of the two, explores Avalon's interaction with the natural and Human worlds. I'm hoping to have this one ready for serial publication after Easter.
The Devil in the Deep Woods is mainly a story exploring prejudice and it's effects on the people it targets. It is the story of a half-orc and his journey to accepting himself and his place in Avalonian and human society. This one is still pretty much a collection of scenes in my head, some of which I've written down, and I know the basic plot, but very little else yet. The picture above is the main character, Boris Bjornson.
Those are where my goals lie for now. Later this year, who knows!
